Been homeless for ages, we were really fortunate to receive good news that a place came up for us to have our home. We signed the tenancy
With Croydon council and Clarion Housing, I am registered disabled with Croydon council adult social services, a wet room was installed and other adjustments was to follow on, we saved some money and bought some items to make more of our home, all was well the rent was paid on time via the council, we abided by the tenancy, so no problems, we just got on living in our new home. Until one Saturday when we got back from the shops, there as sign CANCELLED
Across the front door with locks changed, we was stunned,( I have to take regular medication at that time it was due to be taken ) could not get in, council closed, no other place but the streets, the place we had come from. We never had a Section 21 given to us or any other waring that this would happen, other organisations on our behalf have tried to find out from Croydon
Council and Clarion of what had happened, NO
ANSWER WAS GIVEN THEY HAVE REFUSED TO
