DANIELSON, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) — State police rescued an infant in a drug raid that resulted in two arrests and the seizure of multiple ecstasy tablets.

Police arrested 24-year-old Ashly McFarline and 25-year-old Pedro Galindez on multiple charges after troopers found them in possession of 87 ecstasy tablets during a search and seizure operation in their Danielson apartment Wednesday morning.

State police arrested McFarline and Galindez on multiple charges, including charges for possession of ecstasy, intent to sell, and operation a drug factory.

Also among the charges was risk of injury to a minor, after police entered the apartment to find a 4-month-old infant sleeping in a bedroom with a 14-inch butcher’s knife under the baby’s pillow. The Department of Children and Families (DCF) was then called to the scene and took custody of the baby.
